GBR Academia is the ideal kit for those who want to have everything at their fingertips. It includes all the instruments needed for preparing the recipient bone and for fixing membranes or meshes using pins.
All materials are selected with great care and attention. The product design is based on engineering and biomedical studies, with the aim of ensuring non-toxic, durable materials capable of withstanding stress.
MC Bio is very environmentally conscious. In fact, all of our products—except for nails and screws (which are single-use by definition)—are reusable and long-lasting. Moreover, most of our products are recyclable.
Can I use stops on the GBR line applicator?
Absolutely yes. In fact, the tack applicator, like all the other instruments, is the same as those in the Supertack, Specialist, and Bone Activation Drills lines. They have simply been grouped together in a single box.
Why are there three different tips?
The tips of the tack applicator all serve the same function, which is to secure the pin, but in different situations:
• The short tip is suitable for standard situations
• The long tip is suitable for fixation in lingual areas
• The offset tip is suitable for fixation in hard-to-reach lingual or palatal areas
Why are the drills included in the box?
The drills are used for preparing the receiving bone. With careful use of the drills, a reasonable amount of bone can also be obtained to be inserted into the graft.
