B-Block screws are packaged sterile in a cleanroom environment. For this reason, they are sold in limited-quantity packs to avoid waste.
B-Block screws do not require countersink preparation of the insertion site, which speeds up the insertion process.
They have been specifically developed with a reduced head to avoid pressure on soft tissues.
What is the difference between B-Block screws and those from the Osteo Studio Line/Osteosynt?
The difference lies in the screw head. B-Block screws are designed with an ultra-low-profile head, allowing them to rest on the bone without exerting excessive pressure on soft tissues. In contrast, Osteo Studio Line and Osteosynt screws have a different head design.
What material are B-Block screws made of?
The screws are manufactured using ASTM F136 certified TiGr5 titanium. This standard specifies that the titanium is suitable for the production of medical devices intended for implantation in the human body.
