Specialist line with advanced devices

Advanced instrumentation

The Specialist line represents the advanced system of the MC Bio lines. It contains devices from the advanced range of the Osteosynt, Supertack and Bone Activation Drills lines.

High quality materials

All materials are carefully selected. Product design is guided by strict engineering and biomedical studies, in order to ensure non-toxic, strong and durable materials.

Ecological products

MC Bio is very environmentally conscious. In fact, all our products, with the exception of tacks and screws (disposable by definition), are reusable and durable. In addition, most of our products are recyclable.

The importance of a thorough study of the details

The Specialist line has been developed to provide surgeons with a series of exclusive devices in both their elegance, ergonomics, and functional refinement.

This line is differing from the standard lines for the widespread use of coating treatments using PVD (Physical Vacuum Deposition) system of layers of TiN (Titanium Nitride). The extreme compactness, hardness and stability of these coatings make it impervious to contact with biological elements, of which they do not alter their chemical composition. The hardness also guarantees effective resistance to abrasion, maintaining the aesthetic level for a long time.

Our lingual applicator

The lingual applicator device allows fixation of tacks, at optimal angle, in the otherwise difficult to reach lingual area when using the standard tack applicators.

Q&A

Stops are devices that allow you to vary the retention force of the Tack in the applicator tip socket according to specific conditions encountered by the surgeon. It also aids in maintaining the Tack straight against small deviations.

Absolutely NO. The indexable stop, as the name itself says, allows you to decide on the retention force by sliding it on the tip. Differently the blue and green stops have different retentions forces

In the Specialist lingual applicator the slide hammer slides on PTFE bushings for improved smoothness and fluidity of movement.

Difference is in lid retention on the base. The Specialist Tack holder the lid has a retention system. This prevents accidental opening of the tack holder during positioning.

Yes. The majority of Specialist devices are evolutions and connected to the Supertack and TuffTack system, However there are still Specialist devices for the Bone Activation Drills, Osteosynt and OSTEO Studio Line systems.
