Osteosynt

Devices line for bone blocks fixation

Sterile screws

Osteosynt screws are packaged sterile in the clean room. For this reason, they are sold in packages with a limited number of pieces for maximum efficiency in use.

High quality materials

All materials are carefully selected. Product design is guided by strict engineering and biomedical studies, in order to ensure non-toxic, strong and durable materials.

Ecological products

MC Bio is very environmentally conscious. In fact, all our products, with the exception of tacks and screws (disposable by definition), are reusable and durable. In addition, most of our products are recyclable.

The characteristics of the Osteosynt line

Osteosynt is offered as an innovative line both in the engineering specs of the screws as well as for all dedicated surgical instruments.

Osteosynt screws have been designed and developed with a series of details that guarantee optimal holding in a wide range of regeneration materials such as:
 Re-absorbable and non-absorbable membranes
 Grids
 Bone foils
Bone blocks of both high and reduced consistency

Surgical set specs

Medical grade polymer box, suitable for sterilization with class B steam autoclaves
Organizer integrated into the surgical box
Full range of motor driver connection
Manual Driver with interchangeable tips in different sizes and lengths
Special antifracture cutters for angled and axial motor. The shapes and sizes of our cutters are adaptable to different surgical techniques

*The hand driver is the same for all screw lines

Q&A

The screws are manufactured using The Astm F136 certified TiGr5. The ASTM F136 standard specifies that this type of titanium is suitable for manufacturing of medical devices to be implanted in the human body.

NO! The colors of the screws are obtained by a process of anodizing titanium. The anodization of titanium is obtained by generating a controlled layer of oxide, suchreates a light refractive effect (see rainbow) so our eye sees different colors.

The different coloring of Osteosynt screws allows and aids for visually identification of the diameter of the screws.

No! Biocompatibility is ensured by compliance with the ASTM F136 (American regulatory system).

Very important question! The maximum recommended applicable torque is identified within the operating instructions.
